So all this month,I will be taking requests for donations towards this cause! If you are interested in getting your very own portrait or curious as to what life could be if you just had some lipfuzz, head on over to my profile here to setup your Mo!

A Bunch Of Tricks

Well-adjusted people always tell you, "Jerry, don't be ridiculous. There are no such things as monsters. They're not under our beds or on newspaper headlines. They are products of our imagination."

Those people are wrong.

Monsters do exist in this mortal plain. There is a blackness that extracts our very will, our very vitality and joy like marrow from a bone.

We call these monsters children.

On Halloween they show their true faces.

Stay safe.

Dublin Drink and Draw!

So recently,I managed to catch the Dublin Drink and Draw which takes place every second Monday in The Grand Social on Liffey Street. It's an event where anyone can come along and doodle while drinking and gabbing away. Great excuse to have a night out while technically working at the same time! Anyway here's just some of what I sketched out on the night.

Hope to see you at a Drink and Draw sometime soon!

A recent submission I did for 'The Art Of Superstition' brief organized by Illustrators Ireland. The aim of the project was for artists and illustrators to submit pieces based on superstition. For my piece,I chose to focus on frogs and their association with bad luck.

It is said that if you were to interfere with a frog or bring them harm, they would cause infertility. So in tow with that,I was also inspired by the superstition in the art of the tarot and also based this design from the figure XII who is known as The Hanged Man. I combined the two into one subject matter by making The Hanged Man,in this case, a rabbit since rabbits are known symbols of fertility.

Self portrait I guess

First self-portrait I've done in a while.First time I did one using a photograph as reference. It's also a great reminder that I really need a new scanner soon, this doesn't really do the actual piece justice...

Don't know why I appear Middle Eastern here but who am I to question the ink.

All hail the ink.

The Holy Numbers

This week,I decided to take a look at an Irish comic that has recently caught my eye,Tommie Kelly's The Holy Numbers.

The Holy Numbers was a webcomic collected into a book that tackles the main theme of organised religion and the behaviour of cults. The Numbers are a group founded by a man known as Ravensdale (#1) who leads the movement after he claims to have communicated with a divine being. From this claim,he convinces everyone he has been granted supernatural powers and wants to bring modern Ireland into a New Age. However, before he can truely attain the means to spread his teachings,he is murdered in cold blood. This is when the story begins and we are introduced to the protagonist,Aaron Doyle, who must uncover the truth of who really killed Ravensdale and what exactly is going on within the organisation.

A Song Of Tine Agus Oighear

Something a little different this week than the usual. An idea I had based of the house sigils from the Game of Thrones series mixed with the four provinces of Ireland. Each sigil has some association with old Irish myths and history.House Ulster and Connaght are both based on Cuchulainn (Wolfhound and the Bull of Cooley),House Leinster is the Children Of Lir (Swans.I know there were four of them but three heads suited it better.) And Munster rugby is associated with Stags and the flag contains three crowns (kind of similar to the Baratheon sigil.)

Available as a card, shirt or sticker on my Redbubble Store!

¡Requests,Part Dos!

Punk Zebra for Daisy

Since I hit 150 fans on my facebook page,I decided to do another batch of requests for the larf! Like last time, the results of these turned out excellent! All of them were drawn in a night but this time I took a bit more time colouring them and I had a bit of a hiccup with my laptop in the process but they are.

If you'd like to suggest a drawing the next time I do a batch of requests, keep your eyes peeled on my facebook page when I'll announce it again. Alternatively,if you can't wait, feel free to contact me through if you're interested in a commission.
